The Brief:

This assignment involved photographing Abel Rodriguez and Edgar-Arturo Camacho-Gonzalez, a married couple and owners of a local gallery, for a magazine feature highlighting businesses making a difference during the pandemic. Abel and Edgar-Arturo stood out for their creativity and adaptability, hosting virtual paint parties, creating an online gallery tour, and continuing to exhibit and interview artists.

The shoot focused on capturing lifestyle portraits that reflected their vibrant personalities and dedication to the arts. As a couple who inspire joy and connection in their community, they were the perfect choice for the magazine’s cover, celebrating resilience and creativity in challenging times.
